Shipping policy

Please note:

This Shipping and Handling information refers to the Australian experience only. 

As our customer, you must ensure that the correct delivery address is entered at checkout, as parcels that are returned to Guys & Girls Surf n Street as undeliverable may incur a re-dispatch fee and will be sent back out as regular mail. Freight charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.

Shipping Rates

This applies to and within Australia, excluding gift card purchases, bulky and flammable items. Orders will incur a $14 fee for standard shipping. Express delivery is available for a fee of $19

Free Shipping will be available to orders over $150, this will not be included if the item/items you are purchasing are bulky items such as backpacks, skateboards, luggage and adult life jackets.

Bulky Goods $25 Flat Rate 

• Large items include, but are not limited to, backpacks, travel bags, wake vests and skateboards, and will be shipped with by Standard mail with Australia Post or Courier.

• For those who wish to purchase other items, but the postage is more than $25 please feel free to contact us, we are unable to combine shipping at this stage but can offer refunds for the extra shipping charged at checkout.

• The estimated delivery date for bulky items depends on your delivery address and is calculated from the time you receive the shipping confirmation email, not from the time the order was placed.

   

- Standard mail - Once your order has been dispatched, shipping will take 7 to 10 business days.

- Please allow for a further 3 business days (in addition to the above) for delivery to remote areas as an estimate only.

Please note, delays may occur around Christmas, Easter and public holidays. Remote deliveries are subject to local transport schedules and may encounter extended delays. Please note that that there are limitations on all courier networks and some remote delivery addresses will not be serviced door-to-door. In these cases, the couriers will deliver to a local depot or Australia Post office, and you will be contacted to collect your goods. Some remote locations such as islands can only be accessed by boat therefore normal shipping times do not apply.

The delivery dates are estimates only. Guys & Girls Surf n Street will do all that it can to ensure delivery within the estimated dates, but factors such as public holidays and peak delivery times may not allow this to always be possible. Please note that while Australia Post provides a reliable national service, delivery delays can occur for a variety of reasons. If you are experiencing a longer than usual delay, please first enquire about your missing package at your local post office.

Guys & Girls Surf n Street reserves the right not to accept an order, or having accepted an order, to cancel an order if it cannot supply the goods within the order.

Any damaged or lost orders are subject to an investigation carried out by the courier company. This investigation can take up to 10 business days and we must allow the courier company to complete their investigation before we can take any further action into the whereabouts of the parcel. 

If the Goods are delivered by courier, your parcel will be delivered during normal business hours.

Parcels will be held by the delivery service for their maximum hold time. Should you not respond to a calling card and the parcel is returned to Guys & Girls Surf n Street as unclaimed, further freight charges may be payable for re-dispatch. Freight charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.

Once the Goods have arrived at Guys & Girls Surf n Street, it may take up to another 3 days for processing and dispatch. Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation.

 

Depending on the nature of the goods ordered, Guys & Girls Surf n Street will arrange for delivery of the goods by Australia Post or a courier.

Guys & Girls Surf n Street will endeavor to deliver the goods to your nominated delivery address within the time period specified when you place your order however Guys & Girls Surf n Street will not be liable to you (our customer) or anyone else for any losses suffered or incurred due to delay.

Other than for Same Day Delivery, Guys & Girls Surf n Street endeavors to process all orders within the next business day however please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be processed and dispatched. Please note that due to the high volume of orders received during busy promotional times, there may be a delay on the date of process and dispatch for your order. We're working very hard to process your order and get it to you as soon as possible.

• Express post - Once your order has been dispatched, shipping will take 1 to 4 business days for metro areas and up to 6 business days for regional areas.
• Standard mail - Once your order has been dispatched, shipping will take 7 to 10 business days.

Please allow for a further 3 business days (in addition to the above) for delivery to remote areas as an estimate only.

Once you place your order, our team will endeavor to have your order processed and Ready to be picked up within 2 working hours.

Once you have received your collection notification, you will need to head in-store with photo ID and either the collection reference code from the SMS or barcode from you're ready for collection email.

Please note, our stores can only hold orders for 10 days. After this, a refund will be processed for the order into your original payment method.

Subject to the terms of any order, if Guys & Girls Surf n Street cannot supply all items, you will be contacted and the rest of the order will be shipped.

Where an orders size exceeds packaging restrictions, the order may be sent in multiple parcels with multiple tracking numbers. Due to this the complete order may not arrive at the same time.

For all our customers whose delivery addresses are within Australia, a fee of $14 for regular shipping will be added to all orders placed. Express shipping is available for $19.

You will be able to see the freight costs at the checkout stage, before finalizing your payment.

If required by Guys & Girls Surf n Street, you must pay to Guys & Girls Surf n Street the delivery fee (or such other fee as may be specified by Guys & Girls Surf n Street) in respect of each order.

If your order includes Restricted Material where Australian law prescribes a minimum age to purchase such items, you must ensure that a person over the age of 18 years (or such other minimum age as is prescribed by the law) is available to accept delivery of these goods.

 

Additional charges apply to items deemed to be of a bulky shipping nature. Guys & Girls Surf n Street reserves the right to change the charge values and the products they apply to without notification.

Where an order contains a combination of bulky and/or flammable and regular items, the whole order will be excluded from any free shipping promotion.

  

Bulky fees are charged on a per item basis. As the number of bulky items increases, the shipping charge will increase.

  

Large orders and bulky items which include, but are not limited to, travel bags and skateboards will be shipped by Standard mail with Australia Post. You will be notified of your Australia Post tracking number via email. Please see below for shipping charges applied to bulky items.

Subject to Guys & Girls Surf n Street's return policy, Guys & Girls Surf n Street will take all reasonable care to appropriately pack all orders. If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order details. We will liaise with the courier and resolve the matter in accordance with our Returns Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to payment, property and risk in the goods passed to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the customer's nominated delivery address, anyone at the customer's nominated delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed by Guys & Girls Surf n Street to be authorized to receive the goods.

In these terms and conditions:

• "Account" means the personalized account created by the Customer on the Website enabling the Order of Goods.
• "Agreement" means these terms and conditions, including the terms of any Order placed by the Customer through the Website (if applicable).
• "Business days" means business days in Berri, Australia.
• "Guys & Girls Surf n Street" means Guys Menswear ABN 72 020 732 799 trading as Guys & Girls Surf n Street.
• "Customer" means any person or persons who wish to or have used the website to place an Order.
• "Goods" means any products described in an Order and includes packaging.
• "Intellectual Property" means all rights in patent, copyright, trade names, trademarks, logos, designs, images (including photographs, videos, multimedia or films) or service marks (in each case whether registered or registrable).
• "Material" means any information (including but not limited to data, source codes, and drawings) or images in any form (whether visible or not) stored on or used in connection with the Website.
• "Order" means a request submitted by the Customer to purchase Goods from Guys & Girls Surf n Street through the Website.
• "Restricted Material" means any product displayed for sale on the Website, the sale of which is restricted to persons of a certain age.
• "Website" means the internet site located at www.guysgirlssurfnstreet.com operated by Guys & Girls Surf n Street.

Any reference in this Agreement to the singular includes the plural, to any gender including all genders, to any act or statute includes any act or statute which supersedes, replaces or modifies any earlier act or statute, to persons includes all bodies and associations both corporate and incorporated and vice versa, paragraph headings are for reference purposes only and all references to clauses are to clauses in this Agreement unless otherwise specified.

All references to dollar amounts are references to Australian Dollars (AUD)
